From 16 to 29 May 2024, the City of Brussels will organise the 'Festival of Markets'. This festival is part of the international 'Love your local market' campaign, which puts the markets in the spotlight. On the markets that are being held every week in the City, numerous events and activities will be organised.

Thursday 16 May - Market of Markets: the Market of Markets returns to the Place de la Monnaie (from 11 am to 6 pm)
Sunday 19 May - Place Agora arts and crafts market: origami workshop with Michael David, Belgium's only origamist
Wednesday 22 and 29 May - Chaussée d'Anvers market: zero waste awareness stand run by the Cleaning Service of the City of Brussels
Friday 24 May - De Wand market: inflatable axe throwing and a drinktruck with free drinks
Friday 24 May - Place Peter Benoit market: a drinktruck with free drinks
Saturday 25 May - Place Emile Bockstael market: various events on the themes of food and zero waste
Saturday 25 May - Flea market (Place du Jeu de balle): Fanfare Funky concert
